Calhoun Back to Winning in Cincy

After a brief absence as coach of the Connecticut Huskies, due to a family death, Jim Calhoun returned to the helm of his #15 ranked team. It was his first on-court appearance since the Huskies received penalties (he will be suspended next year for three games) due to recruiting violations. Connecticut defeated the Cincinnati Bearcats 67-59. The Huskies and Bearcats are both 9-7 in Big East Conference play.

  1. Nice win by UConn that counts as two wins — now that they own the head-to-head with the Cincinnati Bearcats. Bearcats will rebound and hopefully Bishop will stay healthy moving foward.
