No Cueto, No Worries

The Cincinnati Reds defeated the San Francisco Giants 5-2 to take a 1-0 lead in the five game series. Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips had 1 HR and 3 RBI in the victory. Right fielder Jay Bruce also went deep for the Reds. Reds starting pitcher Johnny Cueto was injured in the first inning and had to leave the game. Cueto was suffering from back spasms. Meanwhile, the bullpen had to step up to the plate. Sam LeCure, Mat Latos, Jonathon Broxton, and Aroldis Chapman helped collectively on the mound. Cueto is reported to be hopeful for a game 3 start on Tuesday in Cincinnati. Giants pitcher Matt Cain received the loss, while LeCure got the win.
