The Boston Red Sox World Series victory may have been the major sports event, but there was also college football. The Cincinnati Bearcats took care of the Memphis Tigers Wednesday night, with a 34-21 victory. The game was televised on ESPN2. Bearcats’ QB Brendon Kay threw for over 300 yards and a TD, RB Tion Green scored two TD’s, and WR Anthony McClung had 98 yards receiving and a TD catch. The Bearcats trailed early 7-0, but stormed into the lead, not looking back.
Cincinnati has now won three games in a row, and improves to 6-2 (3-1 in AAC). Memphis falls to 1-6 (0-4 in AAC).
