Bearcats win 6th in a row; Louisville up next

The Cincinnati Bearcats beat the Houston Cougars 24-17, Saturday. The Bearcats took 10-0 lead, and led 17-7 at halftime. The Bearcats with the win, have won 6 consecutive games in a row. Houston drops to 7-4 (4-3 AAC). They now have a record of 9-2, and are ranked in the Top 25 of the USA Today Coaches poll. A gigantic matchup with Louisville on December 5th will be the next and final game of the regular season. The rivalry game with Louisville, the Battle for the Keg of Nails, will be televised on ESPN.

For Cincinnati to win the American, the following criteria must be met: 1) Cincinnati must beat Louisville. 2) Central Florida must lose one of their two remaining games. This would result in a tie, but Cincinnati would own the tiebreaker, and receive the BCS berth.
