Cincinnati Shines During All-Star Week

Cincinnati, Ohio was the center of national attention this past week. As host of the 2015 All-Star Game, the Queen City prepared for several tourists. A list of festivities began with T-Mobile Fanfest (Fri-Tue). Saturday included the 5K Color Run and a Demi Lovato Concert. Sunday involved the Sirius-XM Futures Game and Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrities Softball game. The Home Run Derby was held on Monday night. This was likely the highlight of all of the attention this week. Cincinnati Reds 3B Todd Frazier was victorious in front of the hometown crowd in a new Home Run Derby format. Tuesday was the All-Star Game, featuring a presentation of Reds’ Franchise Four and MLB’s Franchise Four. The American League won the game, by defeating the National League 6-3. Mike Trout won his second straight ASG MVP Award.
