The Cincinnati Bearcats took down the Houston Cougars, 69-57 to win the AAC Championship. Cincinnati (28-6, 17-4, 13th) won their second consecutive championship thanks to Jarron Cumberland’s tremendous 33-point effort on over 50% shooting. Cane Broome also scored 15 points for the Cats’ to prevent a third loss to the Coogs’. Houston (31-3, 18-3, 3rd) was led by Armoni Brooks and his 17 points, although the Cougars shot only 30% from the field. The Bearcats will face Iowa (22-11, 11-11, 53rd) in the round of 64 in the NCAA Tournament. TV: CBS Radio: 700 WLW
