Liriano Comes Through

Tuesday night, Minnesota Twins pitcher Francisco Liriano surprised everybody but himself by getting the first no-hitter of the season against the Chicago White Sox. The former ace, has had trouble in the past years with injuries and performance. However, Tuesday night he baffled White Sox hitters with nine hitless and scoreless innings and 123 pitches. Liriano, however, did walk six batters for the game. Nonetheless, it was the first Twins no-hitter since 1999.
